NRG Controls, Inc. was recently selected to install the new state-of-the-art Building Automation Systems for the County of Berks. The project will encompass more than a half dozen of the county’s facilities, including the Services Building and the Courthouse Building, both of which are multi-story facilities.

NRG Controls, Inc. partnered with Pinnacle Health Systems on a new Emergency Room expansion at the system’s Harrisburg Hospital. NRG is excited to help Pinnacle meet and exceed its primary objective of reducing patient wait times when emergency services are required.

NRG's Energy Star Services Division has now benchmarked more than 200 facilities for energy performance. To date, NRG manages more than 3.5 million square feet of space and over 7 million dollars in utility costs annually. Each of these facilities has been given an energy rating by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). NRG utilizes this key information to design and implement a wide variety of energy conservation measures that will produce a significant return on investment for the customer.

NRG has helped Spring Grove Area School District achieve the prestigious Energy Star Label for the district’s Senior High School.

From January 2009 through April 2010, NRG Controls has helped customers save more than $1,000,000 in energy costs!

NRG announces that its customers are experiencing an Annual Utility Costs savings greater than 25% through the Energy Star Services Agreement program.
